I am pleased to announce that Daniel Karamanski has joined the UW–Madison Office of Risk Management effective February 1, 2019. In his position as Senior Risk Management Specialist, Daniel will aid in the administration of various risk management duties for UW–Madison. This includes providing risk management services for the UW Extension restructuring process and beyond.
Daniel brings over 18 years of extensive experience, most recently as Director of Safety and Risk Management for UW Colleges and UW-Extension. Previously Daniel was a member of the University of Wisconsin System Administration Risk Management team. Daniel holds Bachelor of Science, Industrial and Management Engineering. Minor in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Daniel brings sound experience is working within the risk management systems presenting in place and will aid greatly in advancing our efforts in this area.
