2026 Leadership and Management Development Conference

Event is October 27, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. in Union South. Registration deadline is October 12. Registration fee is $135 UW employees and affiliates, $175 non-affiliates and includes workshops, keynote session, and meals.

Join emerging and advanced leaders from UW–Madison and the Madison community for a full day of professional development to develop the skills to lead and manage more effectively. In addition to the keynote address, breakout sessions will cover topics related to:

  • Leadership
  • Relationship Building and Communication
  • Career Management
  • Personal Development and Workplace Skills
  • Inclusive Excellence
  • Wellbeing

Participants will walk away with skills that can be applied to their own work as well as their teams and organizations.

Participants do not need to be in a position of direct leadership to attend and benefit from the Leadership and Management Development Conference.
