Welcome to Emily Albrecht

I am pleased to announce that Emily Albrecht is joining our Financial Reporting, Analysis, and Systems (FRAS) team as an Accountant III. Emily’s first day is Monday, October 24. In her role, Emily’s primary responsibilities will include maintaining our chart of accounts structure in SFS (department IDs, projects, program codes, etc.), assisting campus with various journal entry requests such as JRB internal billing entries, participating in our team’s responsibility to review and post all journal entries to SFS, preparing various monthly and annual financial reports critical to the preparation of our fiscal year-end financial information, and assisting campus with inquiries and requests submitted to our SFS email accounts. Emily joins us from the Department of Medicine in the School of Medicine and Public Health as an operations accountant. She assisted faculty members with budget and project expenditure analysis, and prepared financial reports. Prior to her role at SMPH, Emily worked at the WI Legislative Audit Bureau leading teams in conducting financial statement, federal compliance, and management audits. Emily’s work experience gained in these previous roles position her well to utilize her skills here in FRAS. Please join me in welcoming Emily to FRAS and the Division of Business Services!
