Welcome Julie Yapp to Purchasing Services

The BT Team is happy to announce the addition of a new Procurement Assistant, Julie Yapp. Julie’s first day was Monday, May 8. Julie began her career in finance working for Franklin Templeton, a mutual fund company where she started in customer service, then moved into a company training coordinator and project manager position. After 6 years, she started a family with her husband Derrick and began her own scheduling company for financial wholesalers, setting up appointments, luncheons, and training. When the family decided to return from Florida to their Midwest roots and replant in Madison, Julie decided to connect her volunteering background with her work, becoming a one-on-one paraeducator to students with disabilities at Glacier Creek Middle School. Julie has two kids, a 13 year old son named Clayton and 11 year old daughter named Elizabeth “Ellie”. Finally, she has 2 adorable goldendoodles named Barley and Hops.
