Welcome new Travel & Card team members

As of Monday, March 23, four new financial specialists have joined our Workday Expenses central audit team within the larger Travel and Card team in Disbursements. Please join me in welcoming Angie Kinney, Emily Dean, Jessica Webber, and Matt Schwechler.

• Angela Kinney – Angie comes to us from UW-Stout, where she has worked as a department administrative staff member for eight years. She brings over 15 years of experience in higher education and has provided advanced fiscal review, reconciliation, and reporting support in compliance-driven environments.
• Emily Dean – Emily is joining us after almost two years as an administrative assistant within the Dean’s Office at the Wisconsin School of Business. Emily has worked closely with leadership at WSB on travel booking and event planning. She has a wealth of experience in expense report preparation – both reimbursement and purchasing card transactions.
• Matt Schwechler – Matt came to our team after almost six years with the UW-System Payroll Service Delivery Team. He has extensive experience in centralized service models and centralized service delivery for the Universities of Wisconsin. He has a background in both human resources and finance with a global understanding of Universities of Wisconsin operations and accounting.
• Jessica Webber – Jessica Webber brings seven years of experience working in a governmental financial accounting and oversight role with the USDA (Dairy Forage Research Center) in Madison. As part of this position, Jessica collaborated with UW–Madison departments and navigated complex policies, purchases, and transaction reconciliation.
