Michelle Discher joins Risk Management

We are pleased to announce that Michelle Discher has joined the UW–Madison Office of Risk Management effective January 2, 2019. In her position as Worker’s Compensation Coordinator, Michelle will administer a multifaceted worker’s compensation program for UW–Madison. Michelle brings over 25 years of extensive experience, most recently as Occupational Health Specialist with UW–Madison Environmental & Occupational Health. Michelle holds an Associate Art Science Degree in Occupational Therapy and is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator and Certified Specialist in Health Ergonomics. In addition, Michelle holds further certifications and has completed extensive continuing education coursework and training including experience with the U.S. Department of State.
