Join UW–Madison for a daytime ice cream social on June 17! This annual event serves as a gesture of thanks for employees’ hard work and dedication throughout the academic year by serving our world-famous Babcock ice cream. Ice cream will be served in Birge Hall (430 Lincoln Drive) from 1 – 2:30 p.m., or until supplies run out. (Update 6/16: Event moved inside due to forecasted rain.)

Late night option – On June 18, ice cream and a buffet dinner are served 11 p.m.–12:30 a.m. in Varsity Hall, Union South. This event will combine the annual Employee Appreciation Event with the annual Ice Cream Social.

For both events: Most ice cream will be served in cups. Lactose-free ice cream and sugar-free popsicles will be provided, as supplies last. If rain or severe weather prevents an outdoor social, the event will move to Birge Hall.
