Join us on Monday, January 23, in Shannon Hall at the Memorial Union as we welcome Benjamin Jealous to campus for UW–Madison’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium. The event is free and open to the public. A former investigative journalist and NAACP president, Jealous has dedicated his life to bringing people together, building diverse coalitions for change, and holding government leaders accountable. In his keynote, he will reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through the lens of Jealous’s work as a civil rights leader, social entrepreneur, and changemaker. Following the keynote, Jealous will engage with questions submitted prior to the event. Please share your question for consideration by Sunday, January 22: go.wisc.edu/MLK23-QA. All are invited to a reception with light refreshments in the Sunset Lounge outside the theater immediately following the event.
