Big Ten Academic Alliance Procurement Meeting

The Big Ten Academic Alliance Procurement Directors and Accounts Payable Managers held their Fall 2018 meeting October 21-23 at UW-Madison.  The groups held full day meetings at Union South, but tours were also provided by staff from the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics (Camp Randall tour), Space Science and Engineering (Data Center tour), and two student tour guides from Campus and Visitor Relations.   The meeting brought together the Procurement and Accounts Payable leaders from fifteen Big Ten Academic Alliance member institutions for the first time, and was described by participants as one of the best meetings they’d attended in recent years.

A planning committee met monthly for just over a one-year period to plan and make the arrangements, and included Sarah Martin, Jenn Quinn, Pam Frederick, Dawn Rekoske, Jeff Whitman, Bruce Riley,  and Lori Voss.  Carter Schuett also helped with last minute preparations.
