I am excited to announce a new addition to the CMCT team! Please join me in welcoming Mike Matschull to our team, and back to the Division of Business Services!
Mike graduated from UW-Madison and never really left. He has worked for the University for about 20 years. His first permanent position was in Purchasing Services at UW-Madison where he spent about 13 years working for the Division of Business Services and performing communications, web, training, business analyst and project management duties. Some highlights from that work were rolling out the Requisition Generator and the initial Shop@UW implementation.
About 7 years ago, Mike moved over to the UW Service Center focusing on managing all aspects of PeopleSoft projects for HRS as part of the Service Center PMO. Some project highlights include managing the implementation of HR Design and University Personnel System (UPS) in HRS, leading testing for the 1.5 year PeopleSoft upgrade and managing the implementation of Learning Paths for HRS. The Service Center recently merged with UW-Shared Services, where along with HRS related projects, Mike helped UWSS implement Procurement Services for the comprehensive universities.
Mike is currently on loan from UWSS for P2P and excited to get back to his roots at Business Services and to become the Learning and Development Lead for P2P. While Mike has already started some work for P2P, as of August 1, Mike will be working with the P2P project on a full-time basis.
Welcome aboard!
